    Summary

Five years on from Cuba, Charles Xavier is still very much a part of the CIA's mutant research programme. But with the Supreme Court preparing to rule on a case that could have far-reaching consequences for human/mutant relations in the US, a chance encounter puts his present on a collision course with his past.

    Bookmarker's Notes

What could possibly make Charles turn from his path, sour the dream of having a school for mutants? Erik? Not really, because things are never black or white and sometimes you learn the hard way who you can trust with your life as well as your hopes for the future. It's a little heart breaking, but in all the good ways, it's a look at what might happen when the world learns of mutants. For better or worse, Charles might not be allowed to have what he wants, but it doesn't mean he'll just give up.

    Summary

The story in which there are robots who are not imaginary, a whole mass of steams and tumblers, and a lot of useless cravats. Alternatively this is a story in which Anthony Stark grows from wannabe mechanic into an inventor extraordinary, finds a group of friends along the way and is maybe a little miffed for this whole arranged marriage business.

    Bookmarker's Notes

An enjoyable read in a semi-steampunk setting (not heavy handed use, but well integrated into the story). Lovely Tony voice.

The disjointed back and forth should be confusing but it manages to convey the story and grow like vines into a thick, solid story. Unhurried, picturesque and aching.

Kittenfic like you've never seen it before. Cracky, cute and if you ever wondered what Erik would be like as a kitten? All piss and vinegar comes to mind *smirks* - Mutant supremacist Magneto angers mutant with transformative powers... this ends with him a tiny ball of vicious fluff. Cue Charles Xavier, sweet, loving, cute but above all else, human adopting Erik off the street.

Once Erik really gets over Charles being human, what really bugs him? Is that Charles isn't his boyfriend. Lovely and dry witted without being sugary sweet, just the way a story should be.
