The Avengers: One (currently deceased) vampire, one alcoholic, one introvert, two potential traitors, one good brother, and a holier-than-thou Captain.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
AU in which the Avengers live in the Supernatural world. Loki's a vampire, the Avengers are human, and some of our more delightful villains take on various shapes and sizes.
Before this, Tony was partnered with Steve and fucking Loki whenever the opportunity arose.
This series is on an indefinite and possibly permanent hiatus. Sorry.

See, recently Steve had developed this theory.
It mostly centred around the fact that somehow, at some point, Tony had begun dating Loki.
His theory was that the combination of Loki and Tony was literally, as Tony would put it, the highway to hell.
Heck, if you asked him, he could give you an account of when each offense had occurred.
A borderline cracky, alternate verse where Loki is a human businessman by day and a superhero also by day, and him and Tony have a problem with making a lot of dirty jokes by night.
Which seems simple enough in theory, but in practice, it ends up being unnecessarily complicated, what with SHIELD, supervillains, Avengers, aliens and Tony Stark.

Tony Stark hates magic. He also hates villains, especially mindlessly destructive ones. He’s not too fond of mythological gods, Thor aside. All these things bundled together mean just that Tony has absolutely no time nor patience for Loki. But the Loki Tony knew and fought is dead, and stumbling across the new Loki by chance in Paris turns out to be a happy accident.
But it's all they can do to keep their heads above water, and both of them have a Hel of a long way to go before they can reach the proverbial dry land. Perhaps they'll never get there at all.
