I've been a fan almost as long as I can remember, but my first written-for, longed-for, cried-for fandom was Blake's 7. Who were gunned down in front of my young eyes a week before Christmas. I suspect it had an effect - I certainly like writing my angst, anyway :)
Since then I've only ever acquired fandoms, I don't tend to give them up, although I may stop writing so much for them. They include, although this isn't exhaustive, Babylon 5, Lord of the Rings, Lotrips, Stargate Atlantis, Torchwood and Merlin.
If I'm worried about anything, it's that my fannish drift is getting faster and faster... Where, oh where, will it end? :)
