Derek's in Colombia, restless and unsure. Stiles is in California, feeling powerless and useless. As Derek decides to come back to Beacon Hills, Stiles has to deal with a sudden, drastic shift in his life. Somehow, they both find an anchor.
All soulmates share a birthmark. A angry fan of Derek Hale, movie star, pulls his shirt down and reveals his mark. In Beacon Hills, Stiles Stilinski gets on the internet and sees shady pap photos of, apparently, his soulmate. So how do you contact a famous person to tell them "Hey… I'm kinda your soulmate maybe?" when hundreds of other people are tweeting them the same thing?
It started with an envelope addressed to, “Mieczyslaw Stilinski”.
(“Derek,” Stiles gave him a look, “You still want all up in this?” he gestured to himself, encompassing as much of his body as he could.
“…When you put it like that, I start wondering why,” Derek blinked a couple of times.)
Genji's mask and visor were expressionless as usual, his lights growing slightly brighter. "McCree, Winston," he greeted.
The man standing beside him looked at them carefully, his dark eyes focusing on McCree. Without saying a word, he gave a short bow. "Hello," he finally greeted the new arrivals.
"Holy shit," McCree's voice was hoarse. "Hanzo."
Genji looked at both of them, silently studying them for a moment before he tilted his head. "You know each other?"
"Yeah," Jesse felt the stump of his left arm almost itch as if it was trying to move the flesh no longer attached to it. "Y'could say that."
"I put a grenade next to your heart and I pulled the pin,
Didn't think I would remember your smile when I turned away.
Turning back told me you were already gone."
