Summary
It’s a very convincing kiss, one that makes John forget, momentarily, that this is not a typical night in bed with just the two of them. It’s harder to put out of mind when John feels a gentle tug on his hair, followed by a more insistent hand at his jaw pulling him away from Sherlock’s lips and tilting his head back until he meets... Sherlock’s lips. Again. This kiss is much like the one that just ended, but with an added hint of possessiveness in the way that the other Sherlock sucks John’s bottom lip between his teeth and bites down.
“Oh my God,” John says breathlessly. “Are you fighting over me?”
Or: one Sherlock is demanding enough. Two of them are impossible to resist.

In which Sherlock Holmes meets an old acquaintance, John Watson doesn't enjoy a trip to the country quite as much as he thought he would, and the past refuses to stay where it belongs. Rated primarily for Chapter 5. Completed.
'John raises an eyebrow. “And our client is?”Someone he doesn’t think about anymore, someone who seems so far in the past it's almost like Sherlock is looking at a film strip of things that had happened to a stranger…
Sherlock pauses, trying to think how to explain it to John. At last he settles on, “A university-mate of mine, we did our first year together. I solved something for him once, but I fear it brought more grief than anything else, and I haven’t seen him since. I had heard he’d moved abroad.” '
