'Do you think they'll accept me?' Steve had asked doubtfully, staring down at the flier. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! it bleated at him in sour Hulk green, which he thought demonstrated a serious lack of tact considering it was an advertisement calling for people to work with kids left with PTSD after the Avengers levelled half their home city. 'I mean. I'm the one who caused half the mess.'
'While defending the earth from aliens,' Natasha pointed out.
In which Steve joins a support group, realizes rebuilding New York isn’t just a one-man job, and tries to figure out what the hell is going on between him and Bucky.

Bucky’s standing there alone, smoking a cigarette when he sees that dancing monkey walk by.
Captain America’s show really was terrible; childish. The only good thing about it was the girls, and how great the guy’s ass looked in those blue tights.
But now he’s changed out of that ridiculous red white and blue suit and into his army greens. With his hands in his pockets, eyes trained straight down at his feet, he looks rather lonely, and indescribably sad.
So Bucky calls out, “Hey, Captain America.”
(AU: They didn't know each other before the war, Bucky doesn't get captured and meets Steve in Europe during the Captain America USO tour.)

Bucky isn’t all that suave nowadays, which explains why the first thing he says to his new—and incredibly hot and lethal-looking—teammate is, “Oh.”
Followed by, “Um."
And then, “I didn’t realise we were going to a masquerade. I would’ve brought my domino mask.”
Bucky isn't quite sure who the Winter Soldier is, or how they wound up working a mission together, or how to get him to talk, but he has to admit the guy is ridiculously attractive.
This fic features clones of uncertain provenance, a slightly ditzy BuckyCap, ill-advised flirtation attempts, and an infestation of Jameses. Tongue very much in cheek.

There were days when the realization that he was someone’s father made Steve's head hurt, but mostly he was grateful that he could trust his instincts, because apparently Peter was what had been missing from his life. Yes, he still had lingering, unresolved issues from his time in the Army, and sure, he had what Bucky annoyingly referred to as a criminally untapped ass, and no life outside of work and Peter, but Steve was okay with how his life had turned out because of trusting his instincts.
Unfortunately, those same instincts had straight up betrayed him by going absolutely haywire upon being exposed to Tony Stark.
Veteran single dad Steve runs a tattoo shop. For his 40th birthday, Pepper arranges for Tony to get that tattoo he always wanted, and he winds up with the mother of all crushes instead. Jumping out of airplanes is one thing, but falling in love is something else entirely. Steve struggles with the idea of actually letting someone into his life. Tony is left trying to keep his heart from being broken while Steve figures things out.
