The emperor stands out in his purple toga and beard, of course, but it's the youth at his side, wearing a tunic in the Greek style that bares a powerful shoulder, who catches Magnus's eye. The sunlight flashes off the gold jewelry at his neck, wrists, and bicep when--Magnus swears--he inclines his poppy-crowned head towards Magnus. His blue eyes, artfully accented by cosmetics, go just slightly wider, and his red mouth, matched by the crimson of the poppies in his unbound brown hair, tilts in what might be a smile.

Summary
A modern dystopia in which mutants are slaves.
Erik Lehnsherr has been searching for Sebastian Shaw for close to a decade, and the trail's led him to an exclusive club that rents enslaved and collared mutants to wealthy humans for a variety of sexual uses. Posing there, he meets one of the club's patrons, Charles Xavier, who isn't what the club thinks he is, either. Is Charles going to be an ally, or is he going to stand in Erik's way?

Eventually, they find a note tacked to the gargoyle who guards the passage to the Headmaster's office. It is in Granger's handwriting and signed by her at the bottom, and tells them that, the danger being over and the initial aftermath winding down, she feels that the three of them need some time alone to recuperate and will reappear exactly three days from that day, at four o'clock.

Summary
Gerard hates his job in the art department at BLI. The only good part of his day is hanging with the smokers downstairs, especially Frank, who shares Gerard’s frustration and rebellion against the corporate norms. But when Frank is fired, Gerard quits his job too, and with Mikey’s and Ray’s help, sets off to find Frank, irritate Korse, and turn art into revolution.
This is an origin story, tracing the lives of the Fabulous Killjoys from their ordinary office jobs to their desert showdown against Korse and the draculoids, as shown in the Na na na video. We started writing it a week after the first Danger Days trailer video came out, thinking it would be about ten thousand words, and it got a little out of hand. Um, sorry?
