Because there has been a severe lack of those on this kink meme (and everybody knows that a kink meme without coffee shop AUs can hardly be considered a proper kink meme at all), I present you this prompt:
Bunny runs a small coffee shop with his best friend Tooth. Regulars include North, a Russian toy-maker who repeatedly tries to convince them to start selling eggnog all year long, the authors Sandy and Pitch, who are currently working on a collaboration (and bickering about how to end the villains character arc) and the college student Jack, who seems strangely interested in Pitch and prefers teasing him over writing his overdue essays.

Summary
Jamie's been obsessed with folk tales, cyrptozoology and myths since he was four. Meeting the guardians and the boogy man all in one night didn't make normal any more appealing. He's always been smart though, and there's got to be a career out there where frank discussions of magic and belief don't count against you, and he's going to college to find it.
--Jack's smart enough to know something's wrong, and he's hoping Jamie's smart enough to help him figure it out.
When the first child tottered into the dark and never came back, the other children were told not to do that. when the second child did it, the parents got more creative.
Like it or not, Pitch had a job to do.
