  4. Summary

Death is not permanent. It's a transformation.

Sam and Dean Winchester knew that fact well. They say they lost count of how many times each of them has died, but that is an exaggeration They know. They also know that someone dying wasn't exactly the end all be all. But even so, there was an order to it that was largely respected and kept. Exceptions occurred; one of the more recent exceptions being Amara resurrecting Mary Winchester. What entity was going to argue natural order with Chuck's sister? Well argue and win. For the most part, those exceptions were the rarity and not the norm.

    Until now.

Now it feels a lot like it's moving towards a norm. Entities that have died are suddenly very much alive and present. And while the world has lost a number of its heroes, there's nothing that indicates its Enders won't also be among the ranks of the resurrected either. Saving the world has cost Team Free Will a great deal. They're aren't ready to pay that price again. No way, no how.

So they do what they do. Run it down, figure it out, and save the friggen world. Again.
