Summary
Their lives are complicated, but John and Sherlock find a little help in their not-quite-so-ordinary dreams.
Teaser:
Badger himself had been a strange puzzle, persisting long after Sherlock stopped mentioning his nightly presence to others. Sherlock could never abide being accused of having anything so banal as an imaginary friend, much less one cribbed from the pages of a nursery story. His youthful mind might have identified with the brilliant but antisocial Mr Badger in The Wind in the Willows — who was "the best of fellows! But you must take him as you find him" — but his Meles meles is a proper wild creature. No dressing gown or slippers, nor a belt with pistol or cudgel — just a very old badger with ragged fur, keen dark eyes overhung by bushy white brows, and long gray side-whiskers..

Summary
Sherlock Holmes can master any skill to which he sets his mind -- why should knitting a jumper for his best friend be any different?
Teaser:
Sherlock turns John's jumper inside out, inspects the raveling hole, and puzzles over the construction of for about fifteen minutes before turning to the Internet. A fisherman's jumper, he learns, and the dull colour and regular patterns are part of an old tradition (or a clever marketing scheme) from the Aran Isles. By the time he finds the cable pattern labeled "fidelity," Sherlock knows that even if it were possible, he will not be satisfied with finding a replica of John's worn favourite in a shop. Knitting it himself will be an interesting challenge, and he thinks John will be more amused anyway. -

Summary
Sherlock and John after Hounds, on the fulcrum between past and future.
Teaser
Silence: like the space between the lightning in my bones and the thunder in my veins. He pinned me without touching, hands on the door to either side of my arms, face turned away but mouth close enough I could feel his breath passing over my ear. Some of those dark curls brushed, ticklish, against my cheek, and I wanted to free my arms, tug him closer, tangle my fingers in his hair. -

Summary
There are many different universes where Lestrade regrets introducing Sherlock to the idea of fighting crime. This is one of them.
Teaser
He pulls his shirt cuffs down as far over his hands as they'll go and climbs over the parapet onto the straight ladder — it will drop him deeper into the alley than the other man, cutting off his escape. Taking a deep breath, Sherlock grips the ladder rails with palms and insteps and slides down in an exhilarating controlled fall. The cuffs, and probably the whole tuxedo, are going to be a complete write-off, but it hardly matters. He whips around to one side of the ladder as soon as he hits the ground; the sandy-haired man in the jumper stares, mouth agape (not an accomplice), and the murderer charges across the alley. -

The prompt:
Sherlock likes the danger, he likes putting his absolute trust in John, letting him do anything at all, feeling free and safe even when they're doing things that are insanely dangerous and unsafe.John thinks this is a very bad idea, feels like one day he won't stop, and he'll betray that absolute trust fatally. He accepts it regardless, because no one has ever placed their life in his hands willingly before, and it's exhilarating, even addictive.

Summary
John Watson can see the red string of fate that ties the left pinkie fingers of soul mates together. He can't see his own, however, and worries that it means there's no one in the world marked for him.

Summary
Three years after John disappears from London, someone comes to find him.
Teaser: John is gratified that after all this time his reaction is so restrained: an ordinary blink, a slightly tighter grip on his cup with a hand gone perfectly steady, though he's sure if he were to take his own pulse the rate would be pushing a hundred.

Summary
Nick Fury sez to M, Jack Ryan, Phillip Broyles, Napoleon Solo, Illya Kuryakin, Chief, Jim Sterling, Methos, Mycroft Holmes, and Rupert Giles: "So, this Loki sh*t is going down for real, folks. If you're holding heroes in reserve, now's the time."
And the conversation takes some very weird turns from there.
I have no idea how to describe this bit of crossover insanity... all I can say is it could have happened this way, in some universe....
It's short, just read and enjoy! :)

Summary
Low in the Academy hierarchy, stuck with the powerful James T. Kirk for a roommate, McCoy can't always get what he wants. But if he tries, sometimes, he just might find a way to get what he needs.
Teaser:
He's completely immobile, completely helpless, and McCoy can do anything he wants to him. Get his revenge for every indignity Kirk's used to keep him in his place since the beginning of their first year. McCoy could kill him. Torture him. Mutilate him. Keep him locked in his own body like this for hours, days, forever. -

Nobody likes to say goodbye, but John Watson will always do what needs to be done.

Summary
John is late, and he hasn't called, and Sherlock works himself into a state.
Teaser:
Once he's moving he can't stop, his momentum carries him right into a kiss, clumsy and hard — carries them right up against the wall by the door. Backspace, back, back, back, his mind chatters, there are supposed to be words first; John curls his hand at the small of his back, not kissing back, still in shock, but he's not put Sherlock in an armlock on the ground, either, and...
Somehow Sherlock manages to pull back, pressing his forehead against John's.
"He can't have you," Sherlock says, and how can his voice be breaking?

Summary
Twenty-year-old Sherlock Holmes may have many reasons for living rough on the streets of London, but if he thought it would expose him to a less predictable variety of humankind, he had been sorely disappointed — until the day he encounters charming American visitor Neal Caffrey. Unravelling why Neal's sterling mannerisms don't quite mesh with his counterfeit style might be even more exhilarating for Sherlock than combining their talents to escape a spot of international trouble. The two young men teach each other many things during their adventure — including subtle lessons that take some time to sink in.
Teaser:
He pulled off his gloves and proffered a handshake, needing as much information as he could get on this sleek patchwork of a gentleman before he offered an answer — Sherlock was enthralled by the way the man's conscious lies and inadvertent truths almost fit together, but not quite; near-invisible seams burnished by careful attention, like the repairs to a cherished heirloom.. -

Summary
Jim misses his Bones, and thinks making a surprise visit to his medical conference and whisking him away will be a simple matter. He's wrong.
~~~
It's a feint, of course it is, but Jim's shocked by the attack — this controlled competence is not the Leonard McCoy he'd been expecting. He doesn't have time for the fearsome fury that blazes up in him; his body's reflexes kick in to push the arm aside. Jim knows he's screwed when he doesn't feel the man's weight behind the blow. A savage kick sweeps his ankles out from under him, throwing Jim back against the stair rail. The man yanks open his dress tunic and reaches for a concealed holster.
