Summary
Their lives are complicated, but John and Sherlock find a little help in their not-quite-so-ordinary dreams.
Teaser:
Badger himself had been a strange puzzle, persisting long after Sherlock stopped mentioning his nightly presence to others. Sherlock could never abide being accused of having anything so banal as an imaginary friend, much less one cribbed from the pages of a nursery story. His youthful mind might have identified with the brilliant but antisocial Mr Badger in The Wind in the Willows — who was "the best of fellows! But you must take him as you find him" — but his Meles meles is a proper wild creature. No dressing gown or slippers, nor a belt with pistol or cudgel — just a very old badger with ragged fur, keen dark eyes overhung by bushy white brows, and long gray side-whiskers..

Summary
Sherlock Holmes can master any skill to which he sets his mind -- why should knitting a jumper for his best friend be any different?
Teaser:
Sherlock turns John's jumper inside out, inspects the raveling hole, and puzzles over the construction of for about fifteen minutes before turning to the Internet. A fisherman's jumper, he learns, and the dull colour and regular patterns are part of an old tradition (or a clever marketing scheme) from the Aran Isles. By the time he finds the cable pattern labeled "fidelity," Sherlock knows that even if it were possible, he will not be satisfied with finding a replica of John's worn favourite in a shop. Knitting it himself will be an interesting challenge, and he thinks John will be more amused anyway. -

Summary
The ongoing development of Christopher Pike, post-Narada. --- With the new movie in 2013, this story line is an AU.
Starts with Chris Pike becoming a part of the relationship of the established couple Leonard McCoy and Jim Kirk and moves on from there to his unexpected relationship with the much younger, queer, almost FtM Dael (which begins in "Fire Dancing"), and finally to the establishing of a true foursome relationship, not without troubles on the way.
Main themes: a) Poly relationships between adults who all try their best to solve the problems that come with long-distance relationships, jobs in the fleet, and Pike's ongoing health troubles.
b) The eternal quest for truth, its relativity, the flexibility of our memories, the differences between self-perception and how others see us, and the incredible potential for healing that we all have.- Words:

Bookmarker's Notes
Brilliant, chilling, painstakingly interwoven tapestry of intellect and introspection, violins and violence, bitter loss and rough-budding love, Bach and BDSM. This is a harsh, harsh story in themes and imagery -- sensitive readers beware -- but the beauty, oh, the beauty! I can't rave enough about the subtlety and sensitivity of Eldritchhorrors' descriptions; sumptuous merely in physical detail, but so much conveyed between the lines, in the precision of what Sherlock sees and how he describes it.
Sherlock is complex and finely drawn, breaking your heart with every utterly unique and Sherlockian thing he does in response to the shattering of his inner landscape. John is transcendent in his shaken strength, his fierce compassion, his extra-ordinary groundedness in the midst of the mortally dangerous storm that has blown in from Sherlock's past. A must-read!

Perfectly characterized Bones & Spock, humor with a bittersweet leavening of angst.
