Summary
A sequel to In Ivy And In Twine, from Blaine's POV and taking place in seasons 3-4. Blaine is still ailed by something medically mysterious, but convinces Kurt to move to New York with Rachel and not worry about leaving him behind. While Kurt thrives in New York, Blaine feels like everything in his life is wrong and out of place, and descends into an unshakable sadness. He starts to believe the idea of soulmates really is a hoax, like his family and friends say, and that his relationship with Kurt was nothing from the start, except doomed.

Nasir still craves the respect and position he used to have, before Spartacus and the rebels came to free him. He feels many of the rebels look down on him because they believe he is dependent upon Agron, so he devises a scheme to make people think he and Agron are quarreling, to prove he can fend for himself. The plan only serves to confuse them both, and they both wonder at times if the fight isn't a joke, but real. Meanwhile, Nasir and Agron are separated after parting on uncomfortable terms, and several mental breakdowns ensue when each thinks the other might be dead.
