Stiles, ever since he was a child has always been fascinated with the Lost Empire Atlantis. It's his parents' fault really. If Claudia Stilinski and John Stilinski never kept it as a side hobby, Stiles may have had a relatively normal life, right? But who wants normal? Stiles loved the Stories of Atlantis and it's way of life, had always been intrigued as to what could have caused such a strong and powerful City to submerge--becoming lost on the maps.
As time went on, Stiles lost his mother and father- but instead of steering away from the Lost Empire, his loss only drove him further into finding out if it was a myth; if his bedtime stories were just that. Stories. For all of them.
Now, at the age of 21, Stiles is given the opportunity to lead an expedition to find the Lost City of Atlantis and he wastes no time in declining. He can't wait to find out what is down there, but is even more shocked when he not only finds what but who.

Stiles has always known that he isn't quite human - the plant life that tends to sprout around him whenever he gets upset or excited gives it away. He's never really fit in among the regular people in Beacon Hills and is determined to wait it out, go to college, and find somewhere to belong. He's forced to abandon those plans, however, after he desperately agrees to enter into an arranged marriage to save his father's life.
An arranged marriage with an angry, sometimes furry dude with trust issues. It's all very Beauty and the Beast, without the singing candlesticks.

Derek finds a Polish baby names book and decides that his new goal in life is finding out Stiles' real name through trial and error.
- Part 1 of The Polish adventures of Derek Hale
Stiles took the dare, because what else was he supposed to do when the whole lacrosse team was chanting his name? Even though the werewolf pack had left the Beacon Hills years ago, nobody was stupid enough to set foot on the Hale property.
Except, apparently, Stiles.
Now he's got a feral werewolf following him around town with the sole purpose of claiming Stiles as his own.
Peter refuses to stop writing about all the ways Derek and Stiles could fall in love until it happens. Because he's a good uncle and he is nothing, if not determined.
