‘You have one on your back too?’ Enjolras asks. He’s already memorised the ones that are visible. Grantaire nods again. ‘I’d like to see it.’ He realises too late what he’s said and flushes slightly, but aside from a light smirk, Grantaire doesn’t tease.
‘I’ll show you sometime.’ He says it simply, genuinely, and it is at once a simple statement of fact, and a subtle promise of more. Enjolras feels a thrill of anticipation already.

Everyone else should be sort of sad, but excited too, because they are going on to bigger, better, newer things. Maybe at the end someone stays, and there is wonderful, I-love-you-and-cannot-leave-sex, or maybe (even better), there is sad, this-is-the-last-time sex."
Follows Kirk and Spock after their first five year mission is complete. Kirk is offered a promotion to Admiral, and Spock decides to spend time on New Vulcan.
