This is an AU set in current day Portland, Maine. Adam Lambert is running away but from what? Can he survive the long winter or will it break him? He meets Tommy who has problems of his own. Can these two find common ground or even love from a friendship that doesn't start off in a friendly way? This story is complete. I was inspired to write this story by accidentally finding and then really listening to the old song "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," that Elvis called the saddest song he'd ever heard. I agree with that sentiment. The song is sad and this is a sad story but it's a hopeful one too. I really think this is a great story and I hope that you will agree once you've read it.
