Loki had stank of alpha. Had broadcasted alpha, somehow, even though he was a fucking omega.
And to think Thor had tried to tell them, had insisted that his brother Loki was different, somehow; that he’d always felt more a guide, whatever the hell that was. But he was an alien, and also he didn't smell, so no one paid him any mind. Who would have believed an alien who obviously didn’t know anything about alphas or omegas over their own noses? No one.
Tony decided, right then and there, that he would actually listen next time.

Loki has a problem. When you write it in black on white, it’s called "hebephilia". When you write it into his life, it’s called misery. He decided to teach high school physics because it keeps him far from the preteens that cause him so much trouble, but then Tony Stark happened. The genius thirteen year old is exactly what Loki wants and doesn’t need.

After injuring himself on the field, Thor has retired from playing professional football. As the young and arrogant say, those who can’t, coach. So Thor is now assistant coaching the offense of the New York Avengers.
One afternoon, Loki comes to pick him up for lunch after practice. Loki is a ballet dancer, and the young football players find this endlessly amusing. Coach has a sissy for a brother? Thor takes offense, and suggests that if they think he’s a sissy, maybe they should take him down on the field.
The defense fails to catch the agile dancer, but Loki manages to catch something: the attention of one Tony Stark.
Loki has recently opened his own dance studio: a knee-jerk reaction to Thor’s injury. He won’t be able to dance forever, and he wants to prepare for the inevitable. He only teaches a class or two himself, but when Tony Stark shows up and asks for lessons, Loki is intrigued enough to give them himself. Surely it can’t be what it seems like, though, can it? Is the hyper-masculine wide-receiver actually flirting with him?

After the events of Avengers, Loki is punished just as Thor was: turned into a mortal and tossed down to Midgard. Only he doesn't land in the lap of a pretty, clever, independent woman who can teach him in three days exactly what he needs to know to regain his immortality: he lands in the New York slums.
But Loki is wily, and he has weapons Thor didn't. Soon, he makes himself indispensable for a local mafia kingpin, and is living the life.
Until Tony walks into his bar.
So he flees.
But for some reason, possibly the fact that Loki is eternally the butt of a cosmic joke, Stark keeps finding him.
