Summary
The Argent Guard blossomed in response to the eradication of the Hale Pack, picking up the remaining three members and binding them into guardianship to the Argent family. It was seen as a unity that had the potential to control the werewolf population, given the age of the Hale Pack line and the strength of the Argent family.
Kate Argent has been discovered as the instigator, the arsonist, of the event that had been previously seen as chance, and darker secrets have come to light, resulting in her losing her Guard. Now, Derek Hale, is unbound — until Allison takes up his leash. But none anticipated that this Hunter and Guard would be the ones to change it all. War looms and Allison and Derek find themselves hanging in the balance, trying to find a safe place to land.
Or, that fic that was inspired by the scene where Kate shows Allison chained up Derek, and my brain just ran with it.
