Summary
Clint Barton first met Phil Coulson minutes after he'd literally fallen through a warehouse roof in Estonia and really, that set the tone for their whole relationship; a relationship that over the years would grow to include friendship, respect, smartass comments, a redheaded assassin, slightly terrifying conversations with Nick Fury and a whole lot of pining.
Falling in love really isn't easy for SHIELD agents.

Feelstide prompt: Decorating the Helicarrier for Christmas without being caught by Fury
“Is that a Christmas tree?”
It was. Clint was particularly proud of that fact. It was just over six feet tall and covered in as much tinsel and blinking lights as he could get his hands on. In order to actually place it on the centre of the Helicarrier’s bridge, Clint and his minions and Natasha had had to conduct a complicated tactical mission to make sure both Director Fury and Agent Hill were off the bridge for long enough and then glare the bridge technicians into submission so they wouldn’t blab who did it and spoil everything. Natasha was doing a particularly good job of that, even if half the technicians looked like they were holding back laughter.Clint recruits minions, decorates the Helicarrier by stealth and then finally mans up and confesses his feelings to the man he loves, because if you can't do that kind of thing at Christmas, when can you do it?

Prompt: SHIELD holiday party and ensuing shenanigans
“I came to ask you if you’re coming to the SHIELD holiday party,” Barton said.
That caught Tony’s attention and he scowled. “Yeah... no,” he said. “Pepper’s already making me go to the Stark Industries one and I’m not sure I can physically survive two awkward social gatherings with bad food and cheap booze that no one lets me drink.”
Barton smirked, his expression full of wicked amusement. Tony had learnt to be wary of that smirk. “Oh, you’re going to want to come to this one, Stark,” he said. “For starters, it’s the one day a year you can pretty much guarantee all the senior agents will be drinking.”There are reasons why you should never miss the annual SHIELD Holiday Party...

Summary
If there was one thing about Phil Coulson had learnt being the right hand and friend of a man like Nick Fury for so many years, it was just how to create the optimum level of disruption and chaos without actually going against SHIELD regulations. Of course, spending years as Clint Barton’s handler had also given him quite a few tricks Phil was positive Fury didn’t know about. Because when it came right down to it, there was only so much shit Phil would put up with in a given week.
A story of denim, sentient robots and guerrilla warfare. Or, in other words, the events of Hell Hath No Fury from Phil’s point of view, because I can’t resist writing about sentient robots.

Summary
Putting down his pen, Phil resisted the urge to rub wearily at his temples. Jasper walked over and after he put both cups of coffee down on the desk, sprawled tiredly into the chair opposite Phil’s. “Do you ever get days where you think you should really just have followed your mother’s advice and become a dentist?” he said.
Phil smiled slightly because right now his sense of humour was the only reason he was hanging onto his sanity. “Not really,” he said. “But I do often wonder if nine in the morning is too early for a large glass of scotch.”
Jasper groaned. “Don’t taunt me like that, Phil. It’s mean.”
Phil paused and eyed Jasper. “So what have our special snowflakes gone and done now?” he asked.
“You really don’t want me to answer that,” Jasper replied.
Phil sighed. “Welcome to Friday,” he said dryly. -

Summary
Someone was watching him.
Agent Phil Coulson looked up from where he was pouring three sugar packets into his large cup of black coffee and carefully glanced at the busy café around him. He could feel the sensation of watchful eyes on him like icy fingers sliding down his spine. Fixing a lid on his coffee, Phil’s eyes instinctively roamed the crowd for anything out of place as a feeling of apprehension settled low in his stomach. No one appeared to be paying particular attention to him, but Phil still couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched.
It wasn’t the first time Phil had ever picked up a tail, but it was the first time he’d picked up a tail in New York during a simple trip to grab a coffee.
Phil couldn’t help feeling something was going on.It starts as a simple surveillance mission but when a Senator is murdered and Hawkeye is framed, things go from bad to worse.

Tony, meanwhile, inexplicably began choking on the air in his lungs. “Oh my God,” he said when he could finally breathe again.
Coulson pulled back from the kiss and then arched an eyebrow in silent conversation with Clint. Clint shrugged, smirking as he reached for his coffee. “Morning,” Clint said.
Tony watched them, before he pointed an accusing finger at Clint as he got to his feet in a rush. “Oh my God, you are sleeping with Coulson!” he said.
“It is one of the perks of being married,” Coulson told Tony dryly.
Tony’s mouth dropped open and he gaped wordlessly.Tony finally finds out the truth about Phil and Clint.

Summary
Clint grunted, before Phil felt him wriggle around until he was using Phil’s stomach as a pillow. Looking down, Phil found Clint’s blue eyes staring up at him with mischief and humour. And he was beautiful. Oh, Phil knew Clint could be stubborn, driven and determined when he thought he was right and wilfully insubordinate when he chose to be, but he was also loyal and giving and heartbreakingly brave and sometimes Phil wondered exactly what he’d done to deserve someone like Clint in his life. The fact that Clint had agreed to marry him and the proof glinted dully on his left hand just made it all the sweeter.

Summary
Also, Pepper would probably kill him because somehow Tony found himself back in a bar less than twenty-four hours since he’d last dragged Thor out of one. In his defense, it was pretty hard to investigate someone without being in their presence and when Clint had decided to go out for a beer, Tony had immediately agreed to go with him. No matter what Bruce said, there was something going on between Clint and Agent Coulson and Tony was determined to get to the bottom of it, even if he had to resort to the subtle art of alcohol-influenced interrogation.

Summary
Bruce had to admit that as plans went, this was probably the least painful Stark plan he’d ever been part of. So far, all he’d had to do was leave his comfortable spot on the couch and lie in wait for Agent Coulson and Clint. It could have been a hell of a lot worse, so Bruce was grateful. Privately, Bruce thought this was a bit short-sighted, since there was no doubt two SHIELD-trained agents would be able to spot Thor, Tony and Bruce watching them, but so far nothing disastrous had happened, despite both Thor and Tony having all the subtlety of large explosions.
Tony tries to figure out what's going on between Clint and Phil.

Summary
Clint felt the bed shift as Phil got up and immediately missed the extra warmth. With a sigh, he gave in. Climbing to his feet, he rubbed sleep from his eyes and tried not to be too irritated about that way his morning was turning about to be less than perfect. This was not how he’d always imagined the morning after his wedding; in his mind there’d always been more sex and less supervillains.
Sometimes, being a SHIELD agent really sucked.

SHIELD Agents Sometimes Get Lunch Breaks by orderlychaos

Summary
Sometimes, world crises and dangerous top-secret missions permitting, SHIELD agents actually got to enjoy a lunch break. It was rare and novel enough that they were usually determined to enjoy every second of it. Agent Sitwell and Maria Hill were sitting with Phil at their favourite table (the one with the clear lines of sight of the kitchens and several nearby points of exit); or rather Sitwell and Phil were sitting. Maria was slumped over, her head resting face-down on her arms and was apparently glaring at the table cloth.
Lunch, gossip and SHIELD agents.

“I didn’t think you’d make it,” she said to him.
Coulson smiled, his eyes holding a sharp edge underneath the amusement. “Officially, I’m not here,” he said, taking a sip of his martini. “I’m in my office filling out copious amounts of Avengers-related paperwork.”
Natasha smirked. “Therefore making sure none of the Avengers will dare to disturb you, in case you make them help,” she said. “And the junior agents will avoid your office just in case you’re in a bad mood.”
Coulson’s smile turned smug. “Exactly.”After work drinks are a tradition of senior agents too. It's just a pity they won't stop teasing Coulson...

Summary
All around them, the busy sounds of the cosy cafe around the corner from SHIELD’s New York offices ebbed and flowed, but Maria paid it little more attention than it had taken to note all the entry and exit points and discount any threats. The coffeeshop had become a bit of a tradition amongst the senior agents, because one thing you learnt fast at SHIELD was that coffee was as necessary as breathing. More so, if your name was Coulson.
Coffee and gossip is how SHIELD operates.
It's also a way to learn new things about your coworkers.
