It's Practically Canon
Bio
I've been writing fic since 1998 under various pseuds including Seagull Laridae, Lynx Pardina and Lauren Greenleaf. I've tried to amalgamate all my fannish works under Princess Lauren since the mid-2000s.
My primary fandom is Red Dwarf; I started the Red Dwarf Slash Society (RDSS) in July 2001 and have written far too much fic for it. I've also written het, gen, crack, RPS, filks -- you name it, I've probably written it for Red Dwarf. It's the one fandom I keep returning to, that I adore beyond all reason, and that I always love to see new authors come into, carrying on a legacy of years and years of fandom. (P.S. we also have an LJ comm: Red Dwarf Slash, created in 2003.)
I've been part of a few groups in Harry Potter fandom: I still have fics up on the Professors' Bookshelf at the Sugar Quill (under Lauren Greenleaf); I spent far too much time on #malfoymanor with Veelas Inc when I first discovered IRC; I was a member of METMA (Muggles for the Equal Treatment of Magical Articles) for ages; and I'm still a member of Hogwarts Elite.
I haven't done quite as much socialising in other fandoms, mainly because I wrote far fewer fics for them, but I've been enjoying the challenges at Discworld 100, where I've been writing since 2006, and I simply adore the rare fandoms I write and read for via Yuletide, which I got into in 2008.
I also write for many other fandoms, and will be uploading all of my fic (well, all that's still fit to be seen, that is) when time permits.
