The sheriff suspects something going on between Stiles and Derek. Stiles is pretty adamant that that's ridiculous (little does he know that Derek might actually be interested). Meanwhile, there's a new monster in B-Hills, an old friend of the Stilinski family is back in town, and Derek is becoming a responsible adult. No, really.
General spoilers for the show/characters post-s2. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for s3, but that's really hard so some have filtered into this story - this is set about a year after 2x12, so the end of their Junior year of high school. Stiles is still underage (17).

If anyone had asked, Derek couldn't have said that he was in any way pleased about the witch standing over him. There wasn't anyone else though, not in the woods and certainly not near this particular bend in the steam. At least, not anyone that Derek could smell above the putrid oder of the wolfsbane that was currently rotting his gut and working its all-too-merry way toward his heart.

“Ah, yeah, Desiree, I told you I was meeting someone. Well, that someone is Derek. My boyfriend. We’re totally in love.” His heart was racing and Derek was holding him so tight it was difficult to turn enough to face the young woman. What he did see of her had his breath catching on fishhooks in his throat. She was normally a relatively pretty girl, with cute round cheeks and large dark eyes, but in that moment she looked…terrifying. Her cheeks seemed gaunt, her eyes glowing like they were little windows peeking into a deep pit of raging flame.
(Or: Five or so years after the show. Stiles is in college, and finds himself getting stalked by a succubus. Derek's determined that the best way to thwart her is to prove that he and Stiles are madly in love. It's not really as much of an act as either seems to think.)

Somehow.
a.k.a. The Medieval AU where Derek is an incubus and Stiles is so, so far out of his depth right now.
