Summary

Summary
The first part of the series is a 2k word study guide which explains a lot about how Steve (and Bucky, and Howard) would have viewed what we call homosexuality. I even include a glossary and references. Go me.
The first story (which is the second part of the series) explores how he gets involved with the queer culture of the 1930s, how that affects his relationship with Bucky, and what it means when he becomes involved with Howard Stark. It addresses Steve's self-perceptions about his own body and sexuality in an era that was both highly restrictive of gender roles and far more open about sexuality than we realize.
Status as of 3/31/13:
The second story (which will be the third part of the series) occurs after Steve is pulled from the ice, and how he adapts to vastly different world. It will definitely be Steve/Tony/Pepper, but also Steve/Winter Soldier. While a lot of it has been written, it's still far from complete. My first, optimistic hope was to start posting it at the start of April. HA HA HA nope. :( I expect to start posting hopefully by the end of April. Sorry for delays!- Words:

Summary
A universe where Steve loved Bucky before the war, Tony after the Ice, and both of them together when given the chance. After a little time at war with each other, Bucky and Tony seem to fall in line and fall in love, too. But things are never easy, especially for heroes... Not when the past comes to haunt, dimensional body swaps, and old enemies come into play. And that's before their day job as The Avengers.

Summary
Steve and Tony spend most of their time fighting. Eventually, when they are both at a low point, sparks of a different kind fly and they have sex, with serious impacts on the team, their working relationship and them as individuals. They vow "never again," and have to piece back together a working relationship. In the process, they learn new things about each other, and themselves.
Basically, this grew out of my response to the blistering tension between these two guys, plus how they have far more in common than they realize. Plus, their baggage.
Tony’s hands tighten fractionally in Steve’s shirt. He can feel the adrenalin racing in his veins, the desire to wipe that judgmental frown off Steve’s face for once. It’s a danger signal, that feeling, and he knows it. He’s supposed to do some deep breathing or adjust his chakras or walk away or something. Be mature.
