Summary
Written for typhe's prompt, Van/Stef pillow talk, of the kind where Stef tries to get Van to talk about his sexual preferences/history more.
It is completely not necessary to read the first two fics in this series, which are loosely related kink PWPs anyway. This is essentially a stand alone but since it mentions kink, I thought it belonged here.

Summary
This is a very rambly, very headcanon-y AU. It started as several one shots and PWPs wherein I retconned some minor details of Magic's Pawn, namely that it actually took Vanyel a lot longer to start trusting Tylendel and especially Savil than he did in canon. I also had always wished canon spent more time exploring sexuality and sexual identity, and gender identity to a lesser extent. And then I had the bright idea to turn it into another Tylendel-doesn't-die AU. I am not a terribly fast writer, but I will continue to update this. I am shocked and flattered that this has turned out to be my most popular fic, despite it being unfinished, so thanks very much to everyone who takes a chance on me.

Summary
This isn't so much a series as a loosely related group of PWPs, which the only thing they really have in common is that they feature kink (some more than others). Uh. Yeah. I'll see myself out.

I'm very sorry I left off reading this for so long; I must be the only one here who doesn't like AotQ, so I almost never read fic of those characters. This is very cute and sweet.

There is nowhere near enough fic about Kerowyn, and this is so good; I could seriously just copy and paste this into the book.

Damn if this author didn't get me to care about an OC and a character from a tv show I never watched.

This has be my favorite non-LHM Valdemar fic; it has some very interesting headcanon and OCs.

Scenes from a Valdemar that never was. (Or: the one where the Companions are evil.)

Bookmarker's Notes
Interesting to see how easy it was to twist canon. I wouldn't necessarily say the Companions are evil in this, but definitely less flexible and more ruthless.
