After he is taken from Diagon Alley, Harry Potter's parents become determined to shield their child from anything and everything. While Harry is still shaken by his brief kidnapping, he finds the loneliness of his new situation far worse. When he sees a shooting star, Harry Potter wishes for two things. He wishes for a friend, and for someone who will keep him safe.
Harry is immediately surrounded by a glow, and when he opens his eyes, he finds himself in Wool's Orphanage, face-to-face with Tom Riddle, a boy two years his senior. A boy who made a similar wish.
Their time in Wool's Orphanage builds an unbreakable bond, a friendship that deepens into something more at Hogwarts. Just as the two are beginning their life together, Harry disappears just as quickly as he arrived ten years earlier.

The war ends on Harry's twenty-first Halloween, and, one year later, with nothing truly holding him in that world, Fate takes this opportunity to toss her favourite hero into a different dimension to repay her debt. A new, stress-free life in exchange for having fulfilled her prophecy. A life where Neville is the Boy-Who-Lived instead, James and Lily are still alive, and that Harry Potter is relatively normal but a downright arse. Dimension-travelling Harry just wants to know why he has no say in the matter. And why he's fourteen again. And why Fate thinks, in all her infinite wisdom, that his hero complex won't eventually kick in. Then again, that might be exactly why Fate dumped him there.

“Pepper and I are—” Tony pauses for a fraction of a second while his brain runs rapidly through the ways he can finish that sentence. In the off again portion of our depressingly on again-off again relationship? Hopefully temporarily consciously uncoupled? On a break?
“Pregnant?” asks Steve, perking up like a dog that’s just been offered a treat, and not just any dog, one of those wholesome happy ones like a golden retriever or whatever. Maybe the guy’s just looking for any bit of good news right now, given it’s been one nasty surprise after another the past few days. Tony kind of does want to offer him a treat, or pet him, or something. That’s really not a good enough reason for what Tony says next though.
“Yeah, uh, yeah, we are.”

For this nonny prompt at the Imagine Tony and Bucky comm on Tumblr:
"A soulmate AU where an immortal goose shows up one day to lead you to your soulmate, the challenge is surviving the goose." (Full prompt in notes.)
We all have soulmates, and every soulmate pair shares an animal guide. The Guide is there to lead you to your One True Love, and they represent the aspects of the psyche that you both share. They appear when you're about to meet your soulmate, and often materialize in moments of great personal crisis, offering hope and support. There are stories upon stories about how someone's Guide appeared to lead them to their One True, or how the barest glimpse of their Guide eased their hearts and gave them hope in the midst of despair. The newly-rescued almost always attribute their Guide with giving them the strength and courage to hang on.
Animal Guides are ephemeral, ethereal, and elusive. They are, most often, no more than a warm presence or flicker out of the corner of one's eye. They are incarnate symbols of perseverance, optimism and hope. Foretellers of happiness, and the grand destiny of love.
Except for geese. Geese are assholes.
