What the hell does it matter if my words upset him, when he's so obviously out of control?

''I think you know what this is. I think you know that you have an eating disorder. And I think you are scared.''

Sherlock blinks at me, his throat still swallowing. He has a wild look in his eyes that I don't like, so I push back against my chair, stand up, and go towards him.

    Summary

You see, the two little lines on a pregnancy test are so small, so faint. They could be figments of your imagination, or ghosts of almost-pregnancies past, or a little piece of glitter that spilled in the pregnancy test factory and has been characteristically clinging to its chosen surface until pried off with considerable force. It could be any number of thousands of things. But for some reason, even to the world’s greatest consulting detective and his brilliant, luminous doctor assistant (I’m giggling as I write this and getting an undeserved stink eye from His-self), those two little lines simply could not mean: yes, a baby.

    But they did.

Sherlock uses alphas once. It works for him. John Watson though isn't so easy to just cast aside.

John Watson, a low born young man from the slums of London appears in the farthest corner of country to work as a valet for the young master living in the secluded mansion. Secrets, betrayal, conspiracy. A love blossoming in the most unfortunate circumstances.

“I pray you, do not fall in love with me, For I am falser than vows made in wine”

    Summary

When the pirate ship Aljana happens across a wreck in the depths of f-space, Captain Marouane takes it upon himself to rescue the lone survivor: a deck apprentice of the Lourguinnais merchant marine, one M. Bouchard. Bouchard is self-righteous, judgmental, argumentative—and profoundly attractive, damn him. It is far too easy to become excessively attached to him; and while he may not be a pirate, that does not mean he is not a liar, and it does not mean he is not keeping some particularly important secrets.
