Sid stares at him for a long moment. Geno is about to shrug and change the subject, let it go and probably be wiser for it, when Sid says, “I already told you I can’t dance for shit. Obviously I need — it won’t happen if I’m left to it.”

Summary
Andrew’s pretty sure he’s wiped most of the blood away now. He’s feeling a little tender, the throbbing promise of bruising, but nothing too bad. Nothing lasting. “Not bad?” He pulls a face, tentatively working the muscles. “It’s okay.”
“Yeah.” The guy’s eyes rake over him, and Andrew gets the sense — hopes, at least, maybe — that he’s not just talking about the state of Andrew’s face when he says, “Yeah, it looks okay to me. Uh, I’m Brandon, by the way.”

Summary
Johnny isn’t drunk, but he does let Sharpy and a couple of frat-looking guys he doesn’t even know talk him into a contest of shots. It’s Sharpy’s fault — he appeals to the competitive side he knows Johnny can’t let go of at the best of times, and one of the guys, blonde curls, a lazy smirk of a grin, picks up on it pretty fast too.

Summary
Danny has only ever been human, and he’s pretty sure there’s meant to be some kind of rule, an unwritten moral code of the gay scene: you are not obligated to be every straight boy’s experiment, you should leave them to work through their confusion alone. The thing is, though, Danny is one of just two guys who are out and proud in the whole school. Beacon Hills is a small town.
