    Summary

"Shaw has information that we need, and we need him alive to extract it," Moira says, and there it is: the job is on the table. Extraction.

XMFC/Inception fusion AU. Erik is an extractor, Alex is his point man. They're assembling a team to go after the most dangerous mind in dreamsharing: Sebastian Shaw. Honestly one of the best -- thoughtful, character driven, plot rich -- crossovers I've ever read. This verse feels so real, the characters so layered, that it's second to none in storytelling.

    Summary

Erik is revivified caveman. Charles is the anthropologist(?) taking care of him. This is as ridiculous as it sounds. Romcom misunderstandings and prehistoric wooing ensues.

The perfect AU mix of "Encino Man" and "XMFC". This is funny and serious, fluffy and hot. In general it's one of the most fun reading experiences.

    Summary

After Cuba, things are going to change - at least if Charles has any say in the matter.

    Notes

This is a stunning "what if" canon-alternative (basically I like to think of this as happening in an alternate universe) following the events in Cuba. Charles is angry and pissed off, everyone is back at the mansion (including Erik and Raven and a tension so thick you can cut a knife through it) and despair is in the air. But bitterness can only last for so long and then it's either give up or keep going. The story moves from resignation to hope and does so in a way that is honest to the characters.

    Notes

Written for me for oz magi 2011. This is a brilliant exploration of Beecher and his relationship with Keller. It's full of angst, yearning, desire, hope.
