Positively creepy, evocative, and wonderful, drawing on a ballad I wasn't actually familiar with, but have since read through. Any more would give things away.

Summary
Kate Percy married a man who talks too much. And that's just one of the challenges involved in being Lady Hotspur. This story follows Kate and Hotspur's relationship, as Kate tries to figure out her place in the world. Includes Kate/Percy/Hal threesome (though not too explicit).

Bookmarker's Notes
Oh, my God. I have no words for this fic other than PERFECT. Kate Percy's voice is absolutely spot-on, the proposal scene between her and Percy is hilariously wonderful, and I turn into an incoherent mess when I try to explain how BRILLIANT Hal is. Just read it. I can't do it justice.

A spare, thoughtful piece about John Talbot (as far as I'm aware, the only Talbot-fic on the entire Internet!), also featuring the most adorable Henry VI ever.

Jack Cade's wife narrates how an unlikely soldier joined the rebels' party. "I did not think it sensible to turn to one young Richard son of Plantagenet and say, 'Excuse me, what the bleeding fuck are you doing here and have you brought guns to kill us all?'"

Bookmarker's Notes
This fic has a fantastic narrative voice, told from the point of view of an original character, and illustrates the disturbing scenario of Richard of Gloucester joining the rebels led by Jack Cade in 2 Henry VI. Cade's charisma and Richard's sociopathic tendencies are chillingly rendered in a voice that also manages to be incredibly funny.

Long, delicious, plotty piece about Sam's history with Rick. Gorgeously written, pitch-perfect voices, and the same combination of poignancy and humour that made me love the film in the first place. Just magnificent.

A short look at Belle's life after the film ends, trying to come to terms with the massive changes to the world of the castle, not to mention the Beast himself. Lots of lovely, clever lines, and a briliant ending.

A clever, morbidly hilarious take on Ragnell's background as The Loathly Lady. It's a story that gives her far more agency than the source necessarily allows, while still remaining true to canon.

Both incredibly sexy (it is Richard and his minions, after all) and very clever, this piece negotiates a king's physical reality with the divinity suggested by his surroundings. Also, beautifully written and featuring Suggestive Flautists.
