Clint Barton -- subby, ex-carnie white trash, spy -- isn't the kind of guy Captain America goes for. Nobody informed Captain America of this.

Finding a babysitter in New York is harder than it should be. Even if you've got a large extended (found) family to rope into watching your kid when you've got plans for a romantic weekend.

Tony's reduced to letting Clint Barton watch his kid. He's not overly happy about this. DJ is thrilled.

He hadn’t expected this outcome when he had let slip his little problem that fateful Wednesday. He’d really just wanted a shoulder to complain into. He hadn’t expected much of anything other than perhaps a wince and an empty platitude. What else could Steve offer to the knowledge that, yes Bruce and Tony definitely wanted to screw and, yes they were working out the sciency details but, no they couldn’t yet because things would still get very green very fast?

Apparently, Steve could do a lot with that knowledge.

Bruce really just wants to sleep with his boyfriend/partner/science bestie, but unfortunately they have a Big Green Problem. It's cool, though. Steve's got it covered.

Companion Pieces to "In Which Tony Stark Builds Himself Some Friends (But His Family was Assigned by Nick Fury)"

Sometimes I write foolish things (disclaimer: I always write foolish things) and sometimes there are lines, or actions, or interactions that only make sense to me. Because I have reasons for almost everything.

And some part of me is waiting for someone to ask me about the bizarre little things I put in my stories.

Occasionally, someone is dumb enough to do just that, and then I babble at them on my Tumblr (http://scifigrl47.tumblr.com). I BABBLE SO MUCH.

This is a compilation of all the short stories of why characters react the way they do in my stories. Some are drabbles, some are character studies, some are short stories. Some are edited, some are stream of consciousness. All are foolishness.

I like it that way. And I love answering questions. 8)
