Highly believable view of what may have happened after the music ended and reality raised its ugly head. The author's decision to tell the story from Lina Lamont's POV is an interesting one, and it really works. I never would have thought that I'd come to like Lina as a character, but the author shows her as being far more nuanced than she was in the movie without wimping out and "nicing" her up in an unrealistic fashion. Well worth reading.

Pluto had always been into Charon. Ever since the moment they met in a violent impact, he'd been really into Charon.
It was funny the way things worked out.
Or how being declared a Dwarf Planet was a good thing.

Ridiculous and hilarious and oddly informative. Astronomy has never before felt this dirty. I love it!

Bookmarker's Notes
This wonderful story doesn't flinch away from the sexism in the Trixie Belden books, and yet still shows Trixie as her brave, independent, awesome self. This is Trixie as she was always going to be once she grew up, fighting against her set role as a girl even as she does all the housecleaning and babysitting because that's what girls do. And in the end, she gets what she wants because Trixie is Just That Awesome.
