Summary
Too many things have happened in Gerard’s life lately and now he’s so mentally exhausted he’s soon running on autopilot. He desperately needs to take a break from everything and spend some quality time with his son. A vacation abroad seems like the perfect and most predictable solution to his problem, which it definitely is – Gerard just didn’t expect a vacation fling to also be included in the price.

Summary
Frank has been working as a waiter ever since he dropped out of college – and to be perfectly honest it sucks. So when the restaurant gets hired to cater the 30th birthday of Gerard Way, a new client, Frank is convinced he’ll just have to do his job and go home. It’s probably going to be like every other party and Frank’s prepared for that. What he’s not prepared for however, is Gerard Way.

Summary
When he was little, his grandfather told him that the Dog Days were the hottest days of the summer. He told him that where they lived, these days always fell between July and September. He also told him that during old times, these days were believed to be bad. But Frank had no idea that the Dog Days could last for a whole year.

Summary
There’s one thing Gerard knows for sure about the end of the world: T. S. Eliot was a tiny bit off the mark when he wrote about it ending with a whimper. It’s true that it didn’t exactly go out with a bang, but it’ll take a lot more than a whimper to express sorrow over losing your dreams. It’ll take a lot more than a whimper to express sorrow over losing your loved one. And you sure as hell won’t settle for a whimper when a good ninety percent of the people out there seem determined to make a meal out of you.

Summary
There’s just something about Frank that everybody wants a piece of. He is so much more than a simple free spirit. There are no boundaries or conventions in his life simply because he has chosen to ignore them. He enjoys his self-provided freedom in an audacious, almost impossible way.
Gerard on the other hand is just human. Although he’s blessed with an artist’s creative talents and privileges, he is only a marionette and a mass-producer of next to nothing masterpieces. He doesn’t know any other reality beyond his safe and cheap world of would-be artistic freedom. Once that bubble bursts he is only human. Human and easily worn out.

Summary
Gerard is a talented magician, responsible for much of the success of the famous Envision Destiny cruise ship. He's also one of those people. You know, one of those people who just seem to take up all the space they come across with their arrogance and confidence. You wouldn't wanna touch their personality with a 10-foot pole, but still people admire them.
That is beyond Frank. Working behind the cruise ship bars and seeing Gerard pretty much every day, he can't understand what's so great about him. Besides, everybody else doesn't have to deal with his snide remarks and rude comments. Because if there's one thing Gerard seems to love, it's the act of constantly pestering Frank.

Summary
When Gerard calls Frank’s name that winter day, and walks past the frozen swing sets and through the drifting snowflakes to stand before him, he’s just like an angel; a snow angel who’s magnificent while he’s there, but who’s gone once the storm arrives. He’s a messenger of the non-existent hope that’s nothing but wishful thinking in disguise.
