For a promt on the kink meme:
Bofur to invites Bilbo to live with him in Erebor now that the quest is done. It starts out as a friendly request, until they can find a suitable spot to build a Hobbit hole for him in the vicinity, but as time goes on they slowly start to develop stronger feelings for one another. All the while dealing with their grief over their lost companions, and what might have been had everyone survived. Frodo comes to live with Bilbo.

Bilbo hadn’t allowed himself to think of such things yet – such things like after this is all over. Part of him was still thinking backward, remembering the good old days of peace and plenty in the Shire. The other part, which he was loathe to acknowledge, was thinking of an eventual and inevitable end, in which the dwarves would have to look after his funeral arrangements after all.
