Because Scollay Square and New Orleans accents that sound like New York. Because it doesn't leave out Howard U and internment camps. Because Steve gets to be an artist again, and it fits the headcanon I have of Tony and Steve.
My only complaint is that I wish Pepper wasn't written out as a breakup, but I know that's because in this fandom I ship the entire Marvel Avengers raftload and their significant others as one happy poly community, but that's on me.
