    He had been expecting a more matronly figure, gray haired perhaps, stately, maybe, the way those baby boomer, Hampton-living, ladies carried themselves. She had, after all, been described by his editor as a cross between Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, and Lee Drummond of Pioneer Woman fame. None of those ladies were leggy, in their twenties, smelled like sweet lilacs, and was gorgeous as hell. And none of them had that long blonde hair...
