Sherlock learns about belief (and the suspension of), leaps of faith, and following his heart from his grandmother, Susan Pevensie. Sherlock/Narnia crossover.

Inspired by a number of unfilled Chronicles of Narnia prompts, specifically this one: Sherlock and Mycroft are Kings of Narnia because Susan Pevensie is their mother.

His voice is thick and breathtakingly restrained when he speaks. “Why do you do this to me?” Sherlock asks, shamefully and leans in to press his forehead over John’s left shoulder, against his hand on the wall.

“So the plan is, you have until Saturday night to make that,” he pointed at Sherlock, “look and act convincingly like a woman, so she can go and be a damsel in distress and in so doing trap a serial murderer. Have I got that right?"

A world where the people of Sherlock's universe sort of, kind of, sometimes have ESP along the lines of the Talents in Anne McCaffrey's "Pegasus" series. Kind of.

If you want to play in this series, I'm okay with that. Let me know and I'll add you as a co-author.

    Summary

There's an old couple in the cottage down the road a ways. The boys of the village love to sneak a visit, when they can--old Dr. Watson is always good for a cup of tea or a spot of mischief, and tells the most fantastic stories. And Mr. Holmes might be a cranky old bugger, but he's a cranky old bugger who blows things up.

    And there's always the honey.
