Summary
All night long on my bed, I looked for the one my heart loves; I looked for him but did not find him. I have searched for him. For the one my heart loves is a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person. His hair waves like the sweet water and black as a raven. His eyes are like eagles by the mountain tops washed in our enemies blood. His lips are like the rose of the valley dipped in myrrh. His body is polished bronze and his legs are pillars of stone. His mouth is like to the sweetest of wines that makes the head spin. Very pleasant has the sight of you been to me: your love to me is wonderful, passing the love of women. This is my friend, son of Jerusalem.

Instead, ever and even before the Great War to end all Wars, horrible thoughts constantly bubbled up. Marie didn't know where the thoughts came from or even why.
The Comtesse Melusine de l'Eau could have told her that they came from under the skin.

I'm adding this because linking to the notes for this series of Omegaverse AU is getting complicated as I add stories. And once I had over... oh, dear, look at that word count. Well, it's getting it's own fic.
Some things to keep in mind before you go further, I'm not a chemist, biologist, historian, etc.
If something is wrong, I blame the wizards. Wait, this is SciFi. In which case, I blame the mad scientists and their failure to document that users should never push the giant red button on the device pointed at Earth.

Summary
Celia's feelings were not new in the origin. They were not the moment of a chance meeting in a bucolic dell or in a marble hall. No, these feelings were the result of years of earnest study of her cousin's most deserving nature. It were easy to divine a divine nature to a stranger. Her most beloved cousin, was no divine. She snored a tiny noise in her throat. She had a wicked temper and a more cleverly wicked humor. Her jests some betimes could sting. Yet, these feelings not asked for, and not desired, they had grown clever weeds in Celia's heart that then bloomed into brilliant flowers.
