It’s the first time since he was seventeen— on holiday in Vienna, where he and Elsie Redgrave snuck away from Mycroft’s boring litany of museums— that he creams his boxers, comes early, blushing not out of shame but at his temerity. The two circumstances are vastly different: when John feels the wet patch he grins, licks his fingers delicately, and resumes kissing Sherlock. Elsie swore and wiped come from her bare thigh like it was something corrosive.
