Set post 2001 film. Yuletide story. Essentially a Brian/Dom story, but also essentially Gen. Ye olde hooker fic cliche, without the sex. Great read.

So there are two Point Break crossovers. In this one the ages are left alone, so John Utah is older and wiser and, it turns out, needs Brian to remind him of what he loves about life. Set post 2001 film, this is a brief encounter that sets both guys on a different path than they started on. Bodies in motion. Good character study of all three principles. And there is three, because even when he isn't there, Dom is there.

Set post 2001 film. Long novel-length fic. Dom and Brian are forced to work together and they deal, variously with varying amounts of success, with how they feel about themselves and each other. Less of a deliberate hard-ass tone than most fic in the fandom, and a more old-school feel to the style and the levels of realism; it makes a nice change.

The summary hooked me. Not least for the correct spelling of blond. Set within and just post the 2009 film, this fic manages to add some much-needed depth to the story without ever veering out of character, and it includes sections focused on the female characters as well. Good read. Labeled as pre-slash, it is essentially gen. 3,500 words.

Meta based around the 2009 film - (And let's not even get into Dom's best line, revealed in the trailers and spoken in this scene when Gisele asks if he's "one of those boys who loves cars more than women": "I appreciate a fine body regardless of the make." A better car metaphor for bisexuality could not have been written.)
Well reasoned examination of whose love story this film really tells. Not a starry-eyed ship manifesto but a wry examination of how the story is structured.

khaleesian's main fic index. Several long stories, a bunch of short pieces and some crossovers. Lots of good fun reading, well written and interesting takes on some of the standard fandom tropes. Most set post 2001 film, many take into account 2003 canon and include Roman Pearce. This author mostly avoids the fandom-wide problem of a poorly done, stereotypical portrayal of Mexico.
N.B. there are some occasional html issues on pages, nothing too severe, just some font size wonkiness. Some of her works are now here on the archive at:

Set post 2001 film. Extremely well written. The main story is a classic slash first time Dom/Brian tale set immediately after the end of the film. Brian goes back to his real house for the first time since going undercover and finds an injured Dom waiting for him. There are codas and sequels and corollary stories written by other authors as well as Maygra. The subsequent stories are classic established relationship with lots of backstory for Brian, interesting original characters and good plots.
My only criticism is the level of acceptance of their relationship by both the LAPD and Dom's extended family stretches my credulity a little. Not hard to suspend disbelief for a story this satisfying and well executed.
