In a world where alphas run everything, Clint Barton finds himself having very different ideas to the general populace. Biology isn't everything. Yet, as much as he wants people to realize that, no one else seems to think he has a valid point. It's just how things are. Nothing he can say or do can change that.
So, Clint works with what he has and tries to live as best he can. That is until a SHIELD agent tries to recruit him and show him that not everyone is willing to dismiss him so easily.
