Summary
She didn't exactly know why she'd taken the glass from him, but she was pretty sure it had something to do with the fact that she always found it easier to talk to Draco when she had a drink in her hand. It was probably because alcohol tended to make her forget that he was an arse. And that she was in love with him anyway.

Summary
Charles overdoes things with Cerebro; Erik panics; Erik and Charles have a discussion about what orders Erik can give and what orders Charles can realistically promise to obey. And then there is apologetic sex.
Series being written for utterlysorbine’s prompt of Erik and Charles are starting to negotiate a budding relationship - as dominant (Erik) and submissive (Charles). Whilst Charles is all for this, as someone who's been bred and raised to be in charge of any given situation, he can't help find the whole thing very awkward. Erik's happy to be patient with him - he just loves him and wants to look after him, even if Charles still isn't comfortable with being looked after.

Summary
“Nervous?” Jeff asks, against Mike’s mouth, and Mike pulls back and shrugs, running his thumb over Jeff’s bottom lip as he straightens up.
“Nah,” Mike says, smiling. “It’s just you.” It’s just Jeff, who Mike’s seen from his gangliest, goofiest-looking stage to now; who puked into Mike’s kitchen sink, once, and then looked so miserable afterward that Mike cleaned it up himself; who looked so pale and small when Mike had to leave him, and who glowed like he’d swallowed the fucking sun when he came to Mike in L.A. Jeff’s been there with Mike from the heartbreak of being inches from victory and having it wrenched away, and he’s been there for the disbelieving, breathless flush of lifting the Cup and knowing they’ve won something no one can take from them after that. There’s not a single thing about Jeff that would make Mike nervous about spending the rest of his life with him.

Summary
He sends letters, of course, because out in the sticks there's not much to do except tend to Westchester's endless affairs. And, of course, avoid tending to those affairs by going on walks, riding, and writing letters that make him hard and thrill secretly when he hands the properly-sealed, addressed envelope to the butler.
I was in London the other day, and in a bookseller's along The Strand I found the most interesting and instructive volume. Or rather, it would have proved instructive if we had not already worked our way through much of the repertoire.
