Summary
"Some hae meat and cannot eat, blah blah. You know. It's the 25th. Isn't that what your family does?"
John's brain slipped repeatedly as it tried to turn over this concept. "You're planning a Burns Night?"
"Have planned, John. And already executed. Obviously." Sherlock gestured at the display in the kitchen.
It began a long and sonsie night.

Summary
John's hands really were a marvel.
"That wallpaper isn't cheap, Sherlock. Find a better way."
"Of seducing you?" Sherlock smirked. "I like this way."
"Find a better way, Sherlock," John said more firmly. "You might try, 'John, I would like to have sexual relations now.'" He'd deepened his voice in imitation, and Sherlock scowled.
"I don't talk like that." -

Summary
John must be naturally heat-tolerant, Sherlock supposes, and three years stationed near a desert probably increased his ability to deal with the heat tenfold. But his cool poise in the hottest part of the summer irks Sherlock’s stretched nerves in a way he can’t define, and in the certainty of a great idea that only comes in the middle of the night Sherlock is determined to make John sweat.

Summary
Five times John didn't want to be carried, and one time he did.
“Christ, Mike, I think he’s in love with me,” John says, then drops his forehead on the bar.
Mike takes a long swallow of beer, then eyes John a bit more closely. “What the hell makes you think that? He’s not … I mean, not that I don’t like the bloke, I mean, I do, but really. Sherlock? You sure you don’t still have concussion issues?”

Summary
“I have to say, John, I really just. Well. I can’t see the appeal.”
That wasn’t precisely true, of course. At the moment, the appeal lay in the way John was blushing and licking his lip, avoiding Sherlock’s gaze, thoroughly discomfited.

Summary
Immediate sequel to Relationship Therapy. Lestrade asks Sherlock to investigate an error at the Bank of England that may have repercussions all the way to Downing. With the help of a young protege, Sherlock and John uncover a plot that was unexpectedly complex, yet obvious from the start, and as close as their own sitting room. Written for friends and fun.

Summary
“Well, if he does appear, I can think of a few better uses for him than burglar.” His tone held a hint of lavaciousness that caught my attention. I looked sharply at him. I knew exactly which direction Dwalin’s thoughts lay. Less than a third of all dwarfs were women, and physically, they could hardly be distinguished from dwarf men until their braes came off. Even in the presence of a dwarf woman, few dwarfs regardless of sex wanted the time and distraction of marriage. Dwarf society recognized no gender constraint archetypes to consider in the slaking of our physical needs.
Dwalin continued with a blithe chuckle, interrupting my thoughts. “Best to make him earn his keep on his back. Instead of burglary, he can offer his services in the form of bugga—”
“Enough!” I interrupted sharply, drawing myself up to my full height and laying a hand on the hilt of my sword. “Listen to me very carefully. No one touches the Hobbit.” I let my eyes harden. “Anyone who tries will answer to me.”

Summary
You fought bravely, last night.’ Thorin said gruffly. ‘What little I saw spoke well of you.’
It sounded like he was trying to be friendly but unfortunately failed some lengths short of the mark. His heavy gaze was too intense to easily allow gestures of light friendship. Pride and royalty had stiffened his spine so it no longer bent so smoothly to talk to those he had considered beneath him. Even if they had saved his life.
‘Yes, well,’ Bilbo said in a shallow attempt to veil his pleasure at the small compliment. ‘I have fought before,’ he said with a modest smile that fooled no one.
