    Summary

Figure skating’s biggest name loves to surprise his audience. So when he took a season-long hiatus, everyone just became more excited for his return to the ice. Now 29, Victor Nikiforov is staging a comeback at an age when most competitive skaters retire. And he’s doing it while coaching a protege to take his place.

ESPN The Magazine writer Mara Staedler Lee joins Victor in Gangneung, South Korea for the Four Continents where they talk about the intricacies of coaching, the complications of being in love, and the joys of cappuccino art.

A photo without context, a few careless words, an embellished article.

Thus was born the idea, so patently false it would have fit better in a politician's speech, that Yuuri hated Viktor.

    Summary

Victor makes it his goal to get Katsuki Yuuri, figure skater, to the first page of Google results. There is no way he could let such a brilliant skater be overshadowed by Katsuki Yuuri, winner of some stuffy academic medal, who is probably 50 and balding.

Or: Yuuri has made a name for himself outside of figure skating, and athletes are slow on the uptake.

    Summary

"What did you do?" Yuuri mutters as Viktor takes off his coat and scarf.
Viktor's mouth moves soundlessly for a moment, then gestures for a pencil and pad. Yuuri yanks his way through several drawers and finally finds a grocery list pad and an old charcoal. He throws them in Viktor's direction and shuffles into the kitchen to turn the kettle on. Viktor tugs on his sleeve eventually, like a timid child, and Yuuri turns to see what he's written.
"A succubus?" Yuuri demands, teeth going on edge. "Viktor, oh my God. What did you
    do?"

Or: Viktor needs to stop finding new and creative ways to get himself hexed. Yuuri is Suffering.

    Summary

Yuuri discovers that having Viktor in his life requires some adjustments.

A sequel to Laundromats and Broken Radiators

    -----------------------------

"Where did you even find a copy of my syllabus?" Yuuri frowns at him. But then holds up a hand when Viktor opens his mouth. "No. Actually, I don't want to know."

"I told you, I need to learn everything about you," Viktor says.

"And that involves memorizing my syllabus and reading my curriculum," Yuuri says slowly.

    "Naturally."

At least this is better than the time Viktor had kept him awake with demands to know his favorite color and all the places he'd ever visited and a list of his favorite actors. Yuuri had had to draw the line at teaching Viktor how to write his name in kanji at one in the morning.
