Summary
Otherwise known as, "How Karkat Vantas Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Himself"
It's only been a little over half a sweep since the beginning of the meteor's seemingly never ending journey through phases of extreme boredom and extreme insanity. Meanwhile, Karkat Vantas is, annoyingly enough, going through his own adolescent phases of extreme horniness, and there's no one around who will help to alleviate them.
No one except his own past and future selves, anyway.

Summary
It's 1916, somewhere near Arras, France. Corporal Karkat Vantas is a field medic on the Western Front, stationed alongside Lieutenant David Strider's command, and there's something about Strider -- something that fills Karkat with contempt and rage.
Something that draws him in like a moth to a flame.

Slowly but surely you’ve begun to acclimatize yourself to being touched. You no longer jolt when Jake claps your shoulder, and you think that’s admirable for the amount of time you’ve spent together so far. It hasn’t been very long at all.Series

“Holy shit,” you whisper. Dave joins you at the window.
There are no stars left in the sky. Nothing but blackness and a faint soap bubble sheen.
“Is that a dream bubble?” Dave says.
And then it swallows you.
Update: Now with an illustration by Renaris.
