Not a big fan of kidfic under normal circumstances, but this one is well worth reading. Hyena in the Initiative fic. It's got real dark spots, with lots of references to non con and the things Xander is willing to do to keep a growing child fed and sheltered. 'Self-righteous Willow'-bashing - especially in Part Two. And humorous ficlets at the end. It's bookmarked, because I find myself coming back to it on a regular basis.

The series is incomplete, but damn good. The author is obviously still actively writing the series. Since I made this bookmark, they have written three long chapters of Province. I'm looking forward to more.
The second and third parts are real tear-jerkers, so keep your Kleenex handy. :::pets poor Xander:::
I've never watched Season One of Supernatural, but I've read enough crossovers that I managed fairly well. I'm not sure I would have done as well if I didn't know Season Seven of Buffy, though. It would probably be better if you did know both series (especially for the earlier parts.) As the series progresses, you need to know less and less of their pasts.

I'm quite a fan of Whichclothes' work, and these two stories don't disappoint. She never fails to come up with an original plot line, which is amazing in a fandom as old, and well written as Buffy. Great original characters, as well. Especially Caron.
I finished L'Angelo della Città, and missed it so much that I had to read it again. The sequel is short, but very sweet. Glad to see Caron so happy!
