    Summary

Since the death of his aunt and uncle a year ago, Peter Parker has bounced around foster homes faster than a pinball at full speed. Why? He blames Spiderman. His constant secret keeping, lying, and sneaking out because of his alter ego has kept him from staying in a home for too long, but he refuses to give up the vigilanteism (that's a word, right?) At this point, he's given up hope on ever finding a forever home.

Tony Stark never expected to get so attached to his young new intern, Peter Parker. But when he finds out that the kid is moving foster homes too far away for him to keep up the internship, he takes matters into his own hands. He soon finds out, though, that housing Peter Parker is a lot harder than mentoring him.

(eventual adoption, because how else would this end?)

    Summary

The team may care about each other, but that doesn't mean they always get along. These last few months have been really rough, filled with arguments and complaints and yelling. It's especially hard for one Peter Parker to listen to--which is why when an explosion on a mission leaves him temporarily deaf, he's not as upset as the team had expected. Rather, he finds it a nice break, when he can just peacefully be with his team without having to listen to them fight all the time.

How long will it take the Avengers to realize it's their fault he's so reluctant to start hearing again?

    Summary

If it’ll make Flash go away, there’s no harm in taking a stupid selfie with him. He needs to head back to his apartment in about an hour, and there’s no telling what he’ll be dealing with in that hour. He doesn’t want Tony or May breathing down his neck about missing curfew. The sooner Flash left, the better. Peter nods in agreement, and Flash grabs his phone from his pocket. He wraps an arm around Peter’s shoulder, aims the camera at the two of them, and grins. Peter grits his teeth, thinking of how Flash had shoved him last week and called him a waste of space. It really doesn’t bother him, coming from Flash, but he still doesn’t love making his bully’s dreams come true.

Especially not when Flash grabs the back of his mask and yanks it off of his head.

OR: After Spiderman saves Flash from a robbery, he pulls off the mask. Peter turns to Tony for help.

    Summary

Steve had asked Nat once, shortly after they moved back in, why she thought Tony hadn’t brought Siberia up yet.
“He doesn’t need us like he used to, Steve,” she said simply, shrugging and returning to her training. She hadn’t elaborated, and Steve hadn’t understood.
It wasn’t until a few weeks had passed that Steve got his first clue as to what had changed.
Steve had just lifted a hand to rub at his temple, hoping to ease the tension that lingered there when the elevator doors slid open, surprising Sam mid-complaint, and a teenage boy came spilling out. He was lanky and long-limbed with curly brown hair and was currently thanking Friday for the lift. The boy’s steps seemed to stutter for a moment as he looked up and saw the heroes on their sofa, but his face didn’t change. As quickly as he faltered he recovered, continuing past them in his worn shoes and baggy sweatshirt, heading down the hall towards their rooms.
“Um.. You guys see him too, right? I’m not hallucinating?” Sam asked.
