    Summary

Clint didn’t expect Mjolnir to actually move when he grabbed it.

    Really, he honestly didn’t.

Clint had silently agreed to pretend like the whole thing had never happened, just a secret between him and Mjolnir. Which shouldn’t have gotten out since Clint had kept some of the world’s most classified secrets while Mjolnir was… well, a hammer. At least, it shouldn't have right up until Clint woke up the next morning with a tattoo on the back of his shooting hand.

“How does a man who prides himself on having impeccable eyesight, never see the ray-gun until it’s too late?”

Phil Coulson wished he had the answer to that question as he clutched the three year old Clint Barton closer to his chest. Somehow, this was not how he'd planned for his Christmas to go.

    Summary

Natasha would tell anyone who listened that she agreed to this mess because she was bored, because she hated how quiet the house was at times, but James' nightmares had become less frequent and the distractions would be welcomed. Filling up their house a bit had sounded nice on paper but each child they took in made the house louder and more stressful, with a new set of complications to discover and plan for. With the proper strategy Natasha had decided that fostering four difficult boys was just the sort of distraction she needed.
