[ a post-Skyfall James Bond and Q-centric series ]
In which James Bond continues his work as a Double-O agent with a new reckless streak and Q is ever the voice in his earpiece, the supplier of his equipment and an anchor back to MI6.
This is a series of interconnected stories on the development of Bond and Q's relationship - as individuals and professionals who take note of and fixate on each other after the Silva incident, who grow close to each other in increments until they eventually become a very important feature in each other's lives. Duty - and soon after, trust - is what binds them.
Love, possibly, comes after.

Summary
Beyond the world of BDSM clubs and fetish communities lies the Marketplace — a secret society of consensual slavery and service.
During an MI6 investigation into black market sales of Ministry of Defence assets, James Bond discovers what he believes to be a human trafficking ring called the Marketplace. He infiltrates the organisation as a buyer, but remains focused on his goal: follow the money trail.
On a private Marketplace cruise, one slave for auction catches Bond by surprise. Q is brilliant, ethereally beautiful, and vulnerable. Bond is instantly drawn to him, and he resolves to take down the Marketplace and rescue Q. What Bond doesn’t realise, though, is that Q is right where he wants to be.

Summary
Q does not cry. Does not eat, does not sleep, does not even move. He thinks of broken lines of code in the afternoon light and sometimes, Bond’s palm is there pressed against his, a warm anchor in the midst of somewhere cold. Cold. So, so cold all the time, unless it’s the hours he burns from the inside out and Q is screaming for air, for reprieve, for Bond to please, don’t be late again. Anything at all, as long as it makes things stop.

“I’m a grown man, 007, not a teenage girl that you need to wine and dine.”
“And if I want to wine and dine you regardless?” Bond is a dark silhouette against the window, leaning against the glass. Q inexplicably feels something inside him shift, subtle yet axis-tipping in its enormity.

Summary
Q, on the other hand, is having significantly less trouble with coming to terms as to how he currently has a slightly drunk double-oh agent standing in his flat at arse-o’-clock in the morning. Without waiting for a reply, Q starts the vacuum up again and starts to clean the patch of carpet next to Bond’s feet. The vacuum nozzle bumps against Bond’s patent leather shoes a few times and Q grunts, a clear sign that Bond should move.
Bond moves.

Summary
Q doesn’t bend for anything and Q certainly doesn’t break for anyone, especially when it comes to stubborn double-ohs intent on making Q’s life hell, so when Q wakes up on a Saturday morning to 12 new texts from Bond and the incessant ringing of his flat’s doorbell, Q makes sure to bring a gun to answer the door.
“Delivery for one…Quabik Quadree?”
Q feels the weight of the Glock 19 in the pocket of his dressing gown and sincerely wonders whether to shoot the delivery man or himself.
