Summary
The year is 1948. Gerard is a troubled psychiatric patient on whom almost everyone has given up all hope, and Frank is the young doctor assigned to work with him when his predecessor resigns in suspicious circumstances. Once a promising artist, now a shell of a man hounded by abject fear of an ancient evil, Gerard is a challenging case. But Frank is a cynic with his own secrets, and he's determined to puzzle Gerard's delusions out - even if that brings them right to Frank's own door.

Summary
When Frank and his crew of morally ambiguous ethernauts (pirates, as Imperial law would have it, but that's such an ugly word) fetch up on the doorstep of the fabled Sanctuary, they aren't expecting to find much - least of all a long-lost brother, a garden in a box and the key to an ancient riddle.

Summary
There's a little button up at the top of the page, marked "gallery", and Gerard clicks on it. It presents him with a handful of different names, presumably the artists in residence, and he skims down the list until he spots it: Frank Iero (horror/gore, traditional American designs). Iero, Gerard thinks, rolling the name around his head like a rosary bead in his palm. Of course the fucker is Italian, because the world is cruel and Gerard's life is hard. With a deep, tortured sigh, he clicks on Frank's name.
In which Frank is a tattoo artist and Gerard is a fearsome and terrifying undead creature of the night. Sort of.

Summary
The suitcase Gerard's, and it's empty. Apart from a handful of balled-up receipts and chip packets and broken pencil leads, there's nothing in it.
Which means Gerard got on a flight to Japan with nothing but the clothes on his back and a pack of smokes in his pocket. Frank sits there on the bland beige carpet, wrestling with the implications. No matter how hard he tries to chalk it up to Gerard's flakiness or a bag that went missing at some point, he can't do it. The answer is obvious and unavoidable and awful.
Gerard didn't intend to make it home.

Summary
Gerard tips his head back, challenging and unashamed. There are marks on his neck, blood blossoming under the skin, the bruises already ripening. It's too soon to tell whether they're bitemarks or fingermarks, but Frank wants to press his own fingers into the tender places just to watch Gerard whimper and squirm.
"So?" Frank edges closer, pushing further into Gerard's space. "How was he?"
An unashamed PWP, featuring asshole!Frank and asshole!Gerard.
