Summary
A comedy* in drabbles set in fair (modern day) Tokyo in which the only feuds immediately known to the players are those between rival basketball clubs and the most pressing challenge Midorima Shintarou faces is dealing with the Name on his hip (and the frivolous boy marked with its match). To be fair, it's a bit of a challenge, but he's stuck with Takao anyway. It... might not be such a terrible thing.

This is the series that sold me on Akakaga, which is to say I'd never actually considered it before and then bam. The author does say pretty explicitly that it was based on their headcanon as to the only way they could plausibly see this pairing happening, but it's a great ride and hot damn was I sold on it, hahaha.

as much as I love AUs where everyone is an ayakashi, I think I love the soulcrushing angst of a short-lived human and a long-lived youkai being in love even more. and then there is this, at which point I can only weep quietly and click bookmark. It's definitely worth reading, though, regardless of what damage it does to your heartstrings.

You guess maybe it's better than driving them out into the country and dumping them to make it on their own, or those stories you've heard about people dumping unwanted wrigglers in sacks into rivers--those you try not to think about because fuck, that is not okay on any level but it's not like you can do shit about it.
