Summary
After his leap into the Seine, Javert finds himself back in Montreuil-sur-Mer on the morning of his first appointment with M. Madeleine. He soon discovers that while his choices can change the outcome of things, nothing can stop death from delivering him back to that same morning.
Now he has to defeat the game of fate or keep returning to 1820, eternally dying without finding peace.

Summary
1824- In saving the life of a dying man, Jean Valjean is pardoned from his second stint in the Bagne of Toulon. Valjean then proceeds to carry out his promise to Fantine and during his journey meets up with an old adversary within the heart of Paris. During his new found life in Paris, Valjean slowly learns that the normalcy of life now applies to him as well: domestic problems, romantic opportunities, and of course, crime.

Summary
The "punish me!" scene in Montreuil-sur-Mer takes a turn for the D/s. As Javert and Madeleine draw closer, the shadow of Toulon looms over them both -- and it could be that neither man knows the other as well as he believes.
Meanwhile the trial in Arras is only days away, and as time grows short for Champmathieu, Madeleine has to decide how far he will go to protect a stranger.
