From just having a butler and a personal hacker, Lara didn't necessarily think she would be hand-picking the elements of--well, a family. Of sorts. Naturally, not a very conventional one.

    Summary

Hannibal gives Will pretty things. That's it. That's the plot.

    -

Will saw the bus and the slush puddle just before they collided. He stepped in front of Hannibal without thinking and took the icy spray up his back. It put him closer to Hannibal than he'd meant to get.

Hannibal was smiling at him in that minimalist way he had, creases around his eyes and an impression of warmth and little else. "Very chivalrous," he said.

Will shrugged awkwardly. "Everything I'm wearing can go in the washing machine."

Hannibal unknotted the scarf around his own neck and looped it around Will's before tucking it down into his jacket. "Not anymore. Cashmere and silk. Please look after it properly."

    Summary

Three years after Hannibal's arrest, Will Graham stands on the front porch of his Georgian seaside home and watches twin headlights navigate the winding stretch of his lane. There is only one reason Jack Crawford would travel all this way, in the rain: Hannibal Lecter has escaped from prison, and no one knows where he is.

Written for the Hannibal Kink Meme prompt: Will figured out Hannibal was the Chesapeake ripper, resulting Hannibal's imprisonment and a complete breakdown for Will. A few years later, Hannibal escapes from prison. Despite the risk, the first thing he does is go after his Mongoose. Give me obsessive, possessive, creepy as hell Hannibal who still wants Will for his own.

    Summary

Will should call Hannibal and ask for the last time Hannibal saw him. Except that isn’t exactly a landmine Will’s ready to walk over just yet. No, he should call Alana, but nothing says I want to be your stable boyfriend like I’m either hallucinating or sleeping with someone else.

The point of view is there and the relationship is interesting, but the mood is edging away from Hannibal and towards Silence of the Lambs.
